What we do

Our business is to get a label's releases into retail outlets across the UK. Labels manage their own recording, manufacturing and marketing. They are also expected to organise their own promotional activity, advertising and radio/TV plugging. Our involvement with marketing is associated with retail marketing - working with retailers to assist in the sell-through of your releases.

If you are a band or a singer/songwriter looking for a deal you should approach a publisher or a record label direct.

What We Are Looking For

As you can imagine we receive many enquiries about distribution. As our job is to access the retail sector, we have to select those labels we think will be of most interest to them. In doing so we have to take a number of factors into consideration:

• retail's perception of your label and how your releases will fit into the current market.
• the depth of your repertoire and potential for growth.
• your experience and knowledge of the UK market and your marketing/ promotional resources.
• the label's potential for development and how it is likely to be achieved.
• your expectations

As you can imagine, the market changes over time so our criteria will change with it.
