Having exclusive responsibility for the sales and distribution of over 400 records labels and some of the most cutting edge DVD and software labels, Pinnacle excels in handling an enormous range of music from Katie Melua, Morrissey, Moloko, The Strokes, The Libertines, Midlake, Feeder and Tricky to classic artists such as Black Sabbath, Gary Numan, The Kinks, The Pretenders, Frank Zappa, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Small Faces, Tom Waits & Richard Thompson. The company is split into a number of divisions including Pinnacle Records, Pinnacle Software, Pinnacle Vision. Sales Department
Pinnacle Records boasts a total of five sales teams; each dedicated towards specific areas of the market.
The National Accounts team sells exclusively to the multiple retailers, the main specialists being the likes of HMV, Virgin and V.Shop. We also offer a full sales service to the on-line retailers like Amazon, Streets On Line, etc. The team also covers non-specialists with more selective stock-ranges, such as WH Smiths and Woolworths. Pinnacle is unique in the independent sector in having two field sales teams. The salesforce specialise in catalogue and chart titles, whilst the strikeforce specialise in indie dance and development artists.
The two in-house sales-teams complete the sales department. Both teams pre-sell singles, Spin being dedicated to all permutations of dance music while SF1 specialise in indie, rock and chart.

Label Management
Each label is assigned a label manager whose responsibility it is to maintain day to day contact with a label and provide any guidance and advice that might be required. Each label manager will specialise in particular genres of music to provide marketing insight and each will understand what is required to achieve the strategic aims of a label. The label manager oversees the scheduling and release of records as well as the performance of the label in general. They work closely with the sales team to achieve realistic targets and with the distribution centre in respect of stock.

Marketing
Pinnacle's Marketing department exist as an added service that many labels find invaluable, particularly in marketing to independent retail.
